"Fiorucci made me hardcore"
This video art has inspired my aesthetic for future video works and reminds me of my final piece for foundation which focuses on my own mental health issue surrounding anxiety and hyper-arousal, a condition whereby I'm constantly on edge in 'fight or flight mode' and in basic terms jump all the time and am startled by noises, sounds and the tiniest of stimuli:

I aim to focus more on video art for future projects as I feel this may be where my talent lies, and is my favourite style of collage as naturally I'm constantly stimulated by all my senses, I want to project this onto other people. For this video featured above I showed it in a dark booth with blackout curtains, with headphones that enabled me to create surround sound effects and thankfully as was my intention, it made people jump, feel anxious, and even gave somebody an anxiety attack.
For my COP piece related to body dysmorphia, a subject I have focused on in relation to my essay on body image in relevance to advertising and mass media, I plan to use a similar style of video collage with layered sounds.
